Hi, I’m Jenna….
My voice has been transforming me for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a speech impediment and spent years in speech therapy — from preschool all the way through middle school. When I eventually stopped, my lisp didn’t simply vanish. I actually taught myself to overcome it by recording my voice over and over and figuring it out on my own at thirteen. A total DIY moment — and the beginning of a very intimate relationship with my voice.
Even though I secretly dreamed of being a singer, I convinced myself that “I couldn’t sing.” Over time, I became so self-conscious that I stopped singing entirely — not in the car, not in the shower, not even at my favorite artist’s concerts. It wasn’t until I was twenty-three that I finally found my way back.
My turning point came in 2016. I realized I had two choices: keep telling myself: “I’m too old to learn now…” or simply begin. My desire to express myself musically had become too strong to ignore — this deep, undeniable pull I could no longer suppress. So I chose to start. And that choice set me on a path of discovering my voice, learning my instrument from the inside out, and finally giving myself the permission to create, sing, and express myself fully.
A decade later, I have the privilege of paying this work forward — sharing everything I’ve learned and helping others connect with, understand, and develop their own unique instruments. Supporting people in reclaiming their voice feels like the most natural extension of my journey. It’s truly one of the greatest honors of my life.
Your voice is not just a simple sound.
It’s a part of you.
A living instrument.
A doorway.
A truth.
And it deserves to be heard.
In fact, it needs to be.
TRAINING + CERTIFICATIONS
For the past nine years, I have studied Speech Level Singing (SLS), a functional vocal technique once taught through a formal certification pathway that is no longer offered. While certification is no longer available, I have completed week-long intensives, trained one-on-one with SLS instructors for years, and received mentorship and guidance from seasoned teachers in the lineage. Alongside this foundation, I’ve completed all three levels of Somatic Voicework™—The LoVetri Method (Levels I, II, and III), and I teach using the principles I learned at the LoVetri Institute for Somatic Voicework™. My approach is also shaped by training in sound healing, pranayama and breathwork, vocal embodiment practices, mantra meditation, and over 1,000+ hours of yoga and mind-body education, all of which support a grounded, holistic connection to the instrument.
I’ve experienced profound empowerment and freedom through developing my own voice, and I’m passionate about helping others experience the same. If you’ve always wanted to sing but believed you “weren’t a singer,” I see you—because that was me too. And after years of training, I can say with confidence: singing is a skill, not a gift, and your voice is absolutely worth developing.
